MagaMoney provides transparent, sourced information about political donations from technology industry executives.

Mission

In an era of increasing political polarization, we believe the public deserves to know how corporate leaders are using their wealth to influence elections. MagaMoney makes this information accessible, searchable, and easy to understand.

Methodology

We identify executives based on their reported occupation and employer in FEC filings, cross-referenced with public company information. MAGA-affiliated recipients are identified based on their stated support for Donald Trump or affiliation with his campaigns.

Data Sources

All donation data comes from public filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Individual contribution records are required to be disclosed for donations above $200.

• Stanford DIME — Database on Ideology, Money in Politics, and Elections

Limitations

• Only donations above $200 are required to be disclosed
• Dark money contributions through certain nonprofit organizations may not be captured
• Name matching is imperfect; we may miss some donations or incorrectly attribute others
